INVENTED [15 Nov 2010|12:00pm] subplot Wow, I'm a bad mod. I've let the new album come and go without so much of a post about it. SO, people, what do we all think? I'd be interested to hear everyone else's thoughts on it :) Edit: I'ma going to weigh in - and I hate to say it, but I'm taking awhile to get into this album. It just doesn't feel...fresh...somehow. I've not given up, and there's a few tracks I do enjoy (Movielike) but definitely not their best. Also, they're missing my area for touring for the first time in a long time which is a major bummer. 4 thought it was obvious| Isn't it obvious?

Been listening to the band for a good while now, can't honestly say that I have every record they've made or anything, but i've listened to mostly their older stuff, and to be honest (certainly after Chase This Light) there's not many songs that I can say that I dislike from them. I absolutely adore their music. The main question from this though, is do Jimmy Eat World tour to Europe often? Again apologies for the noobish-ness (if that's a word) about it all. Oh, and I love the whole "Isn't it obvious?" thing going on here. Isn't it obvious?

Terminal 5 in NY Show [24 Feb 2009|01:25am] darksheep Tonight was Jimmy Eat World's first stop on their Clarity X10 tour. They sounded better than I ever remember (and I've been following them for about 7-8 years now, seen them 3 times live). In fact they only got better as the night went on. Goodbye Sky Harbor wasn't just a song tonight, it was an experience. For those curious the set was Clarity start to finish (and GSH was roughly the whole 16 minute version, not an abridged version. Jim's on-the-spot layering of the vocals was fantastic). The encore was composed of: What I Would Say to You Now No Sensitivity Work Pain The Middle Sweetness If you have any other questions feel free to ask, I'll try and get around to answering them. 19 thought it was obvious| Isn't it obvious?

It will no doubt give the band a lot of exposure (not that that song needs it, haha) and it's probably an honor to have their song be in the same game as AC/DC, Nirvana and The Who.
